Campervan Adventures in Spain & Portugal: Las Arenas & Carreña

Today was a pretty lazy day. We woke up to lots of low clouds so you couldn't see the mountains. The plan originally had been to do a long hike (over 20km) up in the mountains, but we decided to take it easy and see what the weather was like tomorrow and then decide if we would do the hike or not.

Then we wandered into Las Arenas to spy

In the afternoon we did drive down to the funicular that would take you to the top of the mountains where the hike was and it was gorgeous! We probably could have done our hike, but it would have been wet and well it was nice to have a relaxing day.

Then we drove over to Carreña, another small town just down the road which was also very nice

This area was gorgeous! It is in the Picos de Europa Park and I can see why it is so popular! We will definitely have to come back and do all the hikes!

11.32km walked/12 flights
