Raymond is the best! Or fun adventures the past 2 months

Raymond is the best! He really is. Sometimes I think how did I ever get so lucky to find him? I mean he is willing to go along with all of my crazy ideas. It is like no matter what my next crazy adventure is he will be fine with it. Hmm...I just realized I don't have a next adventure planned out yet. I mean I have always had a goal to work towards - in high school it was get the heck out of PA for college and live somewhere I liked, then in college I made plans to hike the PCT, then after we did that was planning the wedding, then after that planning on moving to another country and now...now I am just happy being here in Berlin. Maybe Berlin will be the place that I love so much we don't leave...it is hard to say since it has only been 7 months, but still every day I think how much I love it here. Anyways whatever the next adventure I am sure Raymond will be up for it, he always is. I mentioned one time how a friend said I was lucky to find him and his response - he is hap

Christmas Adventures Part 4 - Munich & New Years Eve

Munich hates me. I don't know why...I really don't. I mean yeah we wanted to move to Berlin, so maybe it is jealous, but it didn't like me even before then. We really didn't get to see much of the city the last time we were there, plus it was Oktoberfest so the city was dead except right around there so we couldn't get a feel for what it would really be like. On our first visit I was very excited to explore Munich but on the train ride into town I started getting sick. Like stuffy nose, coughing, maybe fever, feeling horrible achy sick. And was sick the whole time we were there, though we did a little bit of exploring, but mostly just hung out in our room watching German TV.  That is however when I saw Schlag den Raab for the first time and fell in love with the crazy game show, but technically we were staying in Dachau at the time (there were no hotels in Munich available for cheap and we couldn't find a couch to stay on). So I was joking with Raymond

Christmas Adventures Part 3 - Salzburg

Man it takes me a while to get our travels posted and so I feel like I am so behind. I mean Christmas posts in Feb? That is just silly. I sit down sometimes and am like okay I am going to write all of this up now! Then I look at all of the photos and I am just like well...maybe I will read a little bit first. Then it never happens,. It just takes forever to go through everything so I apologize for writing about things month(s) later. Oh well, I guess you don't have to read it ;) Anyways, after a lovely Christmas in Vienna we were off to Salzburg! I was super excited for Salzburg because...well I am not really sure. It just seemed like it would be gorgeous. We got in just before dark and headed off to drop out bags in our room before heading off to spy on the last Christmas market which was open for a few more hours. Salzburg is really a small town - the  downtown part you could easily walk through in a day, really you could walk from one end of downtown to the other
