Our next stop on our fall trip was Eisenach, which is south of Harz and had Wartburg castle up on the hill overlooking the town.
Our first day we decided to hike the Drachenschlucht (Dragon Gorge), but we hiked up to the top of the Gorge on another trail, then down through the Gorge. There were so many mushrooms/fungus on the first trail!

But we made it to the Gorge and headed down
No chasing bunnies!
This is where most people start and hike up the gorge, but where we ended. It was a nice walk, but a little disappointing as a Gorge since we have hiked through a lot of fun ones.
Still a great day overall and a nice hike
