Brugge, Belgium - After the Procession

Just a few more photos from Brugge! After the Procession of the Holy Blood we wandered along the water back towards where we were staying. Kind of a round about way to go there and we came across a big festival we wandered through.

It was really a gorgeous day out and Brugge is beautiful!

Then it was off to dinner at Reliva. This was a fancier place that had lots of vegan options in Brugge and it was delicious! My tea came with lots of treats

Roasted cauliflower - so tasty!

Curry

Raw lasagna - so tasty!

Chocolate mousse for dessert. We were so stuffed, but wanted to try it. Luckily it was not very big and we shared. Overall super tasty dinner.

Then we walked back to the main square to see if they had removed some of the stadium seating and check out the buildings at night.

The seating was still there, but it was nice to sit and enjoy the night

Saw these guys in a shop - so cute! I so wanted them!

The city is really pretty at night as well.

The next morning after breakfast it was time to head off to Gent for the roller derby! Even though we only spent a day in Brugge I really enjoyed it. Would definitely go back for another visit.

Campervan Adventures in Bavaria: Eibsee & Bremsee & Fungi

The next day we woke up and it was quite cloudy, but we still headed off to hike around Eibsee.

Colmar, France Part 2 - All the museums!

So when we were wandering around Colmar and spying on all the things we saw a sign that we happened to be in Colmar on a free night at the museum! So most of the museums in town were free from 7pm-11pm/midnight (depending on the museum). So we of course had to go check them out! There were only four in town so we were able to go to all of them, though by the end we were so tired and our feet were so sore from a long day of exploring and long night of museums.  First up was the Museum Bartholdi, but I didn't take any photos in there (I wasn't sure I was allowed and it was super busy, so many people!). It was super tiny, but interesting. There were a lot of models of ideas he had for different monuments and then what he actually ended up using. The one room was just ideas and designs for the Statue of Liberty which was cool. There wasn't a lot there, but what there was I enjoyed.  Then it was over to the Natural History and Ethnology Museum Cool bugs

San Francisco Part 1

Oh San Francisco. What a wonderful time I had there. It was absolutely beautiful the entire time. Sunny, warm, gorgeous. Plus getting to spend a few days with Jacalen and Patricia = So much fun! We definitely need to do more girls trips! This will be a mostly picture post   I arrived late afternoon and the bus dropped me off near Fishermans Wharf and I walked over to where we were staying. Oh, it was gorgeous outside, but with my bags and such I was a bit warm. Not expecting that in February! Patricia arrived a bit after I did and we had the evening to ourselves to do whatever we wanted! It was so nice out and we were staying in the Marina District so it was just a short walk down to the water. Beautiful!   After wandering along the waterfront for a bit it was time for some dinner! We happened to find the Plant Cafe and I got a plant burger with fries and a salad. Really tasty! Afterwards we went to get a drink and noticed the bar had trivia on Tue
