The end

So it started raining on us for days and we cut out to come back to Seattle for a few days and wait for it to clear up.....and then Raymond decided he really did not want to go back out. So I at first was pretty upset cause I really wanted to get to Canada, or at least as far as we could while the weather was still nice this weekend. And I was feeling really like we were giving up for no reason. Like if one of us were injured or if I was hating it or something then I would have been better about it. But instead it was like the forecast called for gorgeous weather this weekend and we were just going to sit at home. I figured we could have at least gotten to the next stop and then only had one more chunk to do next year, but Raymond really didn't want to go back out so we decided not to. But hopefully by this time next year we will get the last 2 sections done, and maybe go back and do the section from white pass to snoqualmie as we went RIGHT by Mt Rainier and it is supposed to be gorgeous, but we only saw white. So that and Sisters wilderness area we want to go back and do once we finish the whole trail. I really didn't have a hard time fitting back into the city like I think a lot of people do. I just wanted to finish what we had started as Canada was the goal, the finish line if you will. But we will next year and then we will have hiked the entire PCT (that we could). It really was an amazing journey and I loved it overall. I think it will be kind of nice going back and doing sections again as then we do not have to hurry and we can take our time and do like 10 miles a day instead of 20 something which will be nice. So we are home now, almost finished unpacking the boxes of stuff in our place. I do hope that some of our friends from the trail stop by on their way home when they are finished. I still cannot get over how amazing the people we met on the trail (and off) were. I am extremely greatful for everyone who helped us out at all while we were out there, from the people who put up rock cairns in places where it wa shard to find the trail, to the people who gave us rides to and from town, to the people who let us stay with them forever, to the people who sent us surprises and food on the trail and everyone in between. It was an amazing adventure and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

A sincere thank you to everyone who helped us out on this trip.

Oh and I am going to be going through the photos and labeling them and re-uploading them in the next few weeks. I will post a link the the labeled pictures once I have them up :)

Campervan Adventures in Iceland: Final Thoughts

That is it for our Iceland adventures! I wanted to post one last wrap up just to say a few things I didn't put elsewhere, or organize my overall thoughts in one place.
